Linda King Ferguson

Had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with Michigan based contemporary artist Linda King Ferguson. Linda keeps a Brooklyn studio as well, which we visited. In her work she considers the "...the painted social body a site of occurrence. As a site, they articulate the formal operative and associative language of relationship. They conjoin dimesionalities, revealed and concealed visibility and geometric and organic forms with handmade and manufactured process. This is particularly evident in her cut canvas paintings.
